PPB

Pleuropulmonary blastoma (also known as PPB) is a rare tumor of the lungs that occurs in young children. It was originally described 17 years ago by a team led by my colleague Dr. Louis P. Dehner (currently the Director of Anatomic Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine). Together with our outstanding team of oncologists, pathologists and geneticists we are committed to advancing the care of children with PPB. This website is designed to provide information about PPB and our ongoing PPB research studies. Through scientific research, we hope to learn about the factors that cause PPB, potentially leading to better therapies for children with this rare tumor. Call today to find out how you can join us in this important effort.
